The primary focus is on the eye catching design by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, which the Chinese coined "Bird's Nest" and notable mentions on the other structures related to the event, namely the Water Cube/National Aquatics Center and Zhu Pei's three other major Olympic Buildings.
